Functie omschrijving

In this position you will be responsible for providing vision for this licensed products ranges including Sports, Entertainment, Fashion and Work categories. You will lead direction in consumer marketing, brand management, strategic planning, new product development, "kids" marketing, event management and business to business marketing.

You will also be responsible for the strategy and developing new business opportunities internally and with third party innovators. You’ll provide actionable plans based on interpretation of industry tracking reports and market share data of key partners and provide necessary modifications and new strategies as indicated by findings.
You will manage broad-based projects at Global Licensed Products and Marketing business to maximize promotional and synergistic opportunities, improve partner relationships and ensure maximization of contractual terms and compliance. Assess industries (manufacturer and retail) to devise short and long-term strategic options to create sustainable advantage and spearheaded implementation of initiatives.

Functie eisen

BA/HBO (or higher) education
o At least six years experience at the Category Manager level
o Five years experience in fashion/footwear industry, supplier or retailer, is highly desirable.
o Comprehensive knowledge product production and creative capabilities/limitations
o Ability to analyse financial performance of the business based on metrics, ad hoc reports, etc.
o Demonstrated ability to manage large budgets.
o Excellent communication and presentation skills.
o Excellent sales/negotiation skills.
o Ability to drive a vision with commercial results.
